Dexter is a sweet natured boy looking for a perfect forever family.
Dexter is such a well natured and kind soul. He gets along well with other dogs, both male and female. He is also great with kids of all ages. He is currently living with a cat and is progressing well in the company of a feline friend. At this stage we recommend dog savvy cats.
Dexter is very well behaved, he will sit wait for you to enter the room first. He is fully toilet trained and is learning new tricks quickly, such as wait, leave it and paw. He is also crate and toilet trained.
This sweet boy will bring so much joy and happiness to his new family.
HEALTH WAIVER:
Dexter is currently being treated for heartworm. This treatment is included in the adoption fee and will need to be done at an approved Lucky Paws Vet in SE QLD. We will also pay for another heartworm test in 9 months. If the dog is still positive Lucky Paws will pay for another round of heartworm treatment at our approved Lucky Paws vet.
Dexter also has mild/moderate hip dysplasia bilaterally. It is not causing any pain at the moment and he is currently on 4cyte & synovan injections to support his joint health. We recommend to continue this, a 100g packet last approx 2 months and costs approx $70.
