Walking Delilah is an absolute delight as she walks on a loose lead right by your side without any pulling and also travels well in the vehicle.
Delilah is an obedient girl who just wants to please her owner and excels with her basic commands and her overall recall. She is also food motivated and therefore the world is her oyster in terms of just how clever this girl can become!
Delilah is very dog friendly and would be suitable as an only dog or as a companion to another dog friend.
Delilah was formerly in a foster home where she was confirmed to be toilet and crate trained. Given Delilah has been in kennels, this might take some fine tuning however the foundations have already been built and she is expected to bounce back fairly quickly in a loving and understanding home.
Delilah is playful and happy to fetch a ball, she is also very gentle and affectionate. With that said, Delilah requires a quieter home where she can feel safe and therefore a home without kids or lots of visitors is preferred as that chaos can cause Delilah to withdraw and feel unsafe.
A little understanding and patience and Delilah will be the most loyal and loving companion to her lucky family.
