Every now and then, a little dog comes along who fills your home and heart with more love than you ever imagined. That’s Daisy.
Daisy is a mini version of a Cattle Dog – small enough to scoop up for cuddles, but with the courage, intelligence, and loyalty of a full-sized one. She’s the perfect mix of gentle and cheeky, playful and affectionate.
Daisy is a very special girl who needs a very special home. She is fearful and shy, having missed out on the socialisation and training most dogs experience early in life. First impressions aren’t her strong point, but with time, patience, and gentle guidance, she can learn to trust and thrive.
Because of her background, Daisy MUST have another dog in the home – a calm, confident, and non-reactive companion who can show her the ropes and help her feel safe. She can be overwhelmed when meeting new dogs, so slow introductions are essential.
Daisy previously lived on a property with around 16 other dogs and a single owner. When he passed away, the dogs were left alone for days. This experience has had a lasting impact on her confidence and emotional wellbeing.
Daisy is not the type of dog who will run up for pats straight away, but once she trusts you, she will greet you with her whole body wiggling, eyes sparkling, and tail wagging as if she’s been waiting for you her whole life.
If you have a kind dog who would love a best friend and you’re ready to give Daisy the time and love she deserves, she could be the perfect addition to your family.
