Clifford is a gentle, affectionate boy who is slowly learning that the world is a safe place. This cuddly lad loves nothing more than curling up on the sofa with his humans and settling in for a night of snuggles.
Personality & Temperament
Clifford is still building his confidence, so he needs patient adopters who can help him continue to come out of his shell. Every day he grows braver, and his lovely personality shines through more and more. He is warm, loving, and happiest when he’s close to his people.
Training & Behaviour
Clifford is currently in toilet training and doing very well. He will always ask to go outside, but he can have small wee accidents when he becomes overexcited—usually when someone comes home or he’s getting his favourite scratches. This is improving with gentle guidance and consistency.
He has already learnt the basics, including “sit” and “lay down”, and is eager to keep learning.
Home Requirements
Clifford would thrive in a home that can offer him:
• Someone home often, as he loves company and reassurance
• Plenty of time, patience, and gentle understanding
• Another friendly dog – he is doing brilliantly with the mini foxie in his foster home
• Children aged 5+ who understand dogs and won’t overwhelm him (he may jump when excited)
Clifford has not been tested with young children, so a calmer household with older kids is preferred. He hasn’t been tested with cats.
