My name is Chewbacca but my foster family call me Chewy (only because of my look not because I chew- I'm a good boy).
I love being close to my foster family, who are amazed at how quickly I settle into new environments. I love laying next to anybody that gives me a rub and attention- I'm a cuddly, gorgeous boy! I'm currently cared for by a family of 5 who have 3 kids aged 10, 9 & 5 and boy do I love when they play and spend time with me. I'm so gentle and soft, I'm like a real teddy.
I'm really good at going to the toilet outside and have practiced being inside and outside- so could settle in to any living arrangement. I'm very good at being left alone for short times. I’m learning to sleep in the crate at night, which I'm doing great at- I barely make a noise and I'm learning to make it through the night with both sleep and going to the toilet.
I'm a very easy-going pup and would fit with most families. I don't need a big yard as I will only be a medium size, just an area to explore. I don't live with any other animals, but think I would get along with most due to my personality. I'm timid to start with and lay down for rubs, but once we get to know each other I'll be full of life and a loyal companion to you.
