Hey there, my name is Chevy. I’m a big boy, with an even bigger heart and my markings (like my spotty nose as one example) make me very unique. I love everyone and everything, but most of all I just love cuddles (but don’t expect me to be a lap dog for long, because it’s likely that I’ll eventually weigh over 40kg!)
I’m currently living in a loving foster home with one of my siblings, two adults, two kids (11 & 13yrs old) and a very dominant Kelpie, who I love to stir! While I do love my humans, I’m also quite happy on the days when they have to go to work and school. My foster dad comes home for lunch, to check on me and usually finds me asleep on my back with my tongue out and my legs in the air!
My training is going pretty well. I’m slowly learning to go to the toilet outside and what I’m not allowed to chew on. I sit for treats, play tug-o-war (with socks if you leave them laying around!) and love to pounce on bouncy balls like a very big, clumsy cat! I’m still very young and have so much to learn, so my new family should expect to continue my training to make me the best pup I can be.
I would love another dog to play with, but I’m also fine on my own if I have to be. If you are looking for a big softy, who is happy-go-lucky character, then I might just be your guy.
