I'm ready for my new family!

Hi! My Name Is Charley

I'm Available

Hi there, I’m Charley!

I’m a 3-year-old Cattle Dog mix with a big heart and an even bigger love for cuddles and snacks! You might think that being a working dog means I’m all go-go-go — but honestly? I’d be just as happy snuggled up next to you all day. Whether I’m curled at your feet or snoozing in your lap, I just love being close to my people.

I’ve recently discovered toys (who knew they were so fun?!) — I’m still learning how to play properly, but I’m definitely giving it my best shot. I also love my food and have just learnt how to sit and wait like a good boy. I’m very eager to please, so with a bit of consistency (and a few tasty treats), I’ll pick up new things quickly.

At bedtime, I’m a champion sleeper — I can snooze happily in my own bed all night, or I’m more than happy to share yours if you’ll have me. Once I know the routine, I settle in beautifully. I’m also toilet trained and have just mastered using the doggy door (pretty clever, huh?).

I’m a gentle, goofy boy who loves everyone I meet. I’m good with other dogs however best suited to lower energy dogs, I like to just chill out and not keen on rough and tumble.

My recall is great because I never like to wander too far — being close to you is my favourite place to be. I’d make a wonderful family dog for someone looking for a loyal shadow with a heart of gold.

I will need a home with secure fencing and would prefer someone home often as I was left abandoned at the pound far too long.

If you’re looking for a sweet, soulful companion who’s equal parts snuggles, silliness, and smarts, then I think we might just be the perfect match. 💛

Love,

Charley 🐶
