My name is Carmella and I'm the sweetest, most loveable little girl you could ever hope to meet!
I will greet you in the morning with a waggy tail and I love to follow you around to see what you are up to. I have a gentle nature and love pats and belly rubs. While I'm curious and love to be involved in things, I'm also happy to curl up beside you and just "hang out".
I have brought a lot of joy to my foster family already, and can't wait to bring that joy to my furever family!
I would highly benefit from having a family where someone is home more often than not, as I really love company and can get anxious is left alone. I am learning to play with toys. I especially love puzzle feeders, and am a very clever girl who works them out quickly.
I came from a big family of small dogs, so I think it's fair to say I would likely get along with other small dogs - and would probably enjoy the company. So if you have another small dog I could fit right in.
I've met people of all ages from young children to older adults and seem to enjoy company of all ages.
I am working on my toilet training. If I have free access to outside I always choose to toilet outside. I am also working on learning to walk on a lead and to sit. I am food motivated, so that should help with my ongoing training.
I can be a little uncertain in the beginning in new situations.. I lived on a big farm all of my life so everything about suburbia is new to me! I may come across as timid when I first meet you, but I warm up quickly and you will very quickly see my happy, sweet and engaging nature if you give me even just a couple of hours of your time.
I will need secure fencing in my forever home to keep me safe. Ideally 5ft with no small gaps at the bottom.
