Introducing Benny, a clever and handsome boy looking for his forever home.
At around 40 kg, Benny is a true gentle giant with a calm, affectionate nature. Most of the day he prefers a relaxed pace of life, although he does enjoy a brief burst of excitement around 4 pm when the zoomies strike for 5 to 10 minutes before he happily returns to lounging.
Benny is convinced he's a lap dog. If you're sitting down, chances are Benny will want to be right beside you, soaking up all the affection he can get.
He enjoys short neighbourhood walks, particularly during quieter times of the day such as early mornings or late evenings when there are fewer dogs around. Benny would be happiest as the only pet in the home, as he prefers not to share his people with other animals.
Car rides are one of Benny's favourite activities. He'll either settle in comfortably and sleep for most of the journey or happily rest his nose near an open window and take in the sights and smells.
Benny is also a smart boy who has already learned sit, wait, down, and drop in just a few short weeks of training. He is well-mannered, eager to learn, and enjoys being involved in family life. Whether he's carefully supervising kitchen activities or helping with household chores, Benny likes to know what his people are up to.
On any given day, you'll find him fast asleep in his crate or peacefully watching the world go by from a favourite chair in the yard. While Benny is perfectly capable of spending the day relaxing in the yard on his own, what he really loves most is having his people nearby.
Benny is a truly beautiful dog with so much love to give. All he asks for is a family who will love him as much as he loves them in return.
