I'm ready for my new family!

Hi! My Name Is Azure

I'm Available
Azure hasn’t had the life any normal dog has experienced, sadly Azure came into our care from a breeder who had many other dogs and didn’t provide her with the love she needed and deserved.

She arrived in care heavily pregnant and within a few days gave birth, she did not get to experience what is was like to be a normal loving pet as she focused all her time and energy into raising her puppy Loki.

Due to her past, she is extremely timid. Azure is not the sort of dog that will run up to you for pats at the first meet and greet, she will shy away and avoid pats but has never shown any ounce of aggression even when she is scared or unsure.

Her safe place is her crate, when she is feeling scared or unsure she will retreat to her safe place. She will accept pats and rubs in her crate.

Azure is a beautiful and gentle girl, just ready for a kind, loving and patient new owner or family to give her a chance. She seems more comfortable around respectful kids (ours are 7 and 10) than adults. She will follow you to see where you are going but runs away as soon as you turn. When we are in the lounge she sometimes comes in and lays down at a distance.

She loves to potter around the garden but may hide away at first until she settles into her new environment. Azure has been great with other dogs, although not really focused on them or wanting to play we believe with time another dog may slowly help her even more.

Azure is toilet trained and will happily go out by herself if the door is left open or she will go outside if you tell her to as long as you keep a distance.

She prefers to stay indoors whilst we are out.

Azure deserves to find a loving and caring forever home.
