Say hello to Avril – a sun-chasing sweetheart with the charm and the soul of a cuddlebug! This gorgeous little lady is all about snuggles, serenity, and snoozy sunspots. If you’re after a gentle companion who’ll curl up with you at night and bask beside you by day, Avril’s your girl.
Affectionate to her core, Avril adores burrowing into blankets and hearts alike. Lovingly nicknamed our “foxy lady” thanks to her dainty features, she’s happiest when life is calm and voices are kind. Loud noises and raised voices make her anxious, and she’s still learning that the world beyond her bed is safe.
She’s quite timid on the lead, but highly food motivated — so training becomes a positive and rewarding journey with her. With a few tasty treats and lots of gentle encouragement, she’s showing more confidence every day. she’s currently undergoing heartworm treatment, you’d never guess it!

Avril is currently being treated for heartworm. This treatment is included in the adoption fee and will need to be done at an approved Lucky Paws Vet in SE QLD. We will also pay for another heartworm test in 9 months. If the dog is still positive Lucky Paws will pay for another round of heartworm treatment at our approved Lucky Paws vet.
Avril also has an underbite.
