Terms & Conditions
- I agree that the above described animal is being adopted by me solely as a pet for myself and/or my immediate family.
- I agree that I will not sell, give away or otherwise dispose of said animal to any person(s), pound, shelter, dealer, retailer, auction, institute or any other entity for any reason.
- I agree if at a later date I am unable or unwilling to keep this pet, I agree to first contact Lucky Paws Dog Rescue and give them the option to reclaim said pet at no charge. If Lucky Paws Dog Rescue agree to reclaim the animal I will provide Lucky Paws Dog Rescue adequate time to place my animal in a suitable foster home. I agree to transport the dog once a new carer is found.
- I understand the payment, and the returning of this form must be completed before collection of the adopted animal. The designated adoption price is non-negotiable. As Lucky Paws Dog Rescue is a non- profit organisation the adoption fees are re- invested into helping other animals on death row.
- I agree that I have inspected the pet and agree to accept the pet in its current condition, health and behaviour. I have not relied upon any representation by Lucky Paws Dog Rescue in deciding to adopt the pet.
- I hereby agree to care for the above described pet in a humane and responsible manner and to provide it with clean and adequate shelter, food, water and veterinary care. I further agree that said pet shall reside inside my property boundaries and shall not be allowed to roam freely.
- I agree that the adoption fee is only refundable, less a $50.00 administration fee, if the pet is returned safely, and with open communication, back to Lucky Paws within a ten (10) day period.
- I hereby understand Lucky Paws makes no representations or warranties, express or implied, about the above mentioned animal's temperament and I indemnify them in respect of any future damages or injuries caused by said animal.
- I also understand and agree that the current owner (Lucky Paws Dog Rescue) further gives no guarantees, expressed or implied, of the explicit suitability of the animal to the adopter and/or their family.
- I agree that as the new owner I will cover the microchip change of owner fee. Depending on the company, this fee is approximately $20.00, and this is a once off fee.
- I agree that the adoption will not be finalised until the 10 day trial period is over. This means paperwork may not be sent until after this date.
- All animals are adopted as desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm preventative treated (if applicable). If a puppy is adopted under 16 weeks of age, I agree that I will cover the 3rd and final puppy booster vaccination. Lucky Paws Dog Rescue covers 2 vaccines only for under aged animals in our care. This is to be done at a selected Lucky Paws Dog Rescue Vet only.
- I certify that all statements made by me on this adoption agreement are true and correct.
- If within the 10 day trial period, I am wanting to return the dog, I agree to email admin@Luckypaws.com.au immediately with the reason why I am requesting to return the dog. I understand that at first, the rescue will attempt to remedy the issue and if the rescue deems the adoption unsuitable I may return the dog to the foster carer once I receive written email confirmation. I understand that if I choose to return the dog without written email approval from the rescue group, a refund will not be granted.
