I’m super food motivated (whatever that means, but I’m guessing it’s a good thing because I’ll do just about anything for a treat!)—and that’s why I’m a fast learner! I already know how to “sit,” “wait,” and I’ll come running when I hear my name or a whistle! I’m still working on my manners, like not jumping up when I get excited to meet new people (it’s just that I love attention and pats soooo much!). I’m getting better with each day with a little guidance, I’ll get there!
Walking on a lead is a new thing for me, so I’m still figuring it out, but it seems pretty cool! I’m just as happy to relax, get belly rubs, and enjoy a little “doggy TV” now and then. I’m also crate training and I have all my breakfast and dinner in my crate. I am starting to see it as my safe space, which is pretty awesome, Sometimes, I even retreat there for some quiet time when I need a break!
I get a little nervous in new situations, but I’m learning to relax and settle into new places quickly. The yard is a cool new place I have discovered and I love to explore it! I’m learning how to chill by myself at home with my foster sister while the humans go out to get me more treats—no complaints here!
I’m looking for a loving home where I can be your loyal companion. I’d love a family who is home a bit to hang out with me and another doggy friend would be awesome! I Kids ... I love them as long as they are gentle with me and aged 8 or older... since I’m still working on my jumping.
I’m ready for my new life with you. Please give me a chance—you won’t be disappointed!
