Meet beautiful Bonnie
She arrived in foster care quite shy but now loves to run around the backyard with her foster sibling (a small male mini pincher), snuggling with the kids (2 and 3 year olds) on the couch or keeping me company under my desk while working from home. Bonnie is happiest when around people and will become your little shadow in no time.
Bonnie adores our very little kids but does bounce with happiness to see them when they come home - She would be ok with younger kids as long as they understand how to be gentle with her and are confident enough to tell her to get down when needed. Occasional jumping up will likely improve with training.
She plays well with small dogs but can be a little possessive around food and should be fed separately from another dog - This something we are working on. Bonnie is fully toilet trained and has taken to using our doggie door with ease. She is also learning new skills like sitting & waiting for her dinner. Bonnie likes tennis balls and chew toys.
Bonnie’s ideal home would be with someone who wants to include her on all their adventures and who works at least partially from home, she can be left alone but will prefer your company. She would be just as happy with a loving couple/single or a family with kids. Bonnie would be fine with a small doggie sibling but would probably also enjoy being the only dog in her new home so that she can be absolutely spoiled by her family without competition
