Louie is an active and loyal companion. He adores his human friends and prefers to keep all the attention for himself!
Louie has led a sheltered life with an 80 year old owner who was unfortunately very unwell. He is currently experiencing the big wide world and at times can find it overwhelming especially with other animals. He will need a patient owner who can help him build confidence and improve his social skills.
Louie thrives in an active household where he can have at least a daily walk. He loves playing games such as tug of war and fetch - he’s great at retrieving, but is working on the return part!
He is fine being home alone for a few hours as long as he has had his daily walks and is provided with toys such as kongs or long lasting treats to keep his mind active.
He knows basic commands but would benefit from additional training to become the best companion you could ask for. He is such a sweetheart and very funny.
