Frank is the MOST friendly and loving young man you will ever meet. He is devoted to his humans and when you chat to him, he stares at you like he is very interested! A true gentlemen he is!
Frank is ball focused and LOVES to play fetch. He doesn’t have a mean bone in his body, he is a big boy with an even bigger heart.
Frank’s favourite place is anywhere you are; watching / supervising / learning about what you’re doing.
Frank is perfectly house trained; he will let you know when he needs to go outside and is currently learning how to use a doggie door. He can sit, stay, lay down, shake, and WAITS (sitting) for his food as it’s being served. He will not eat from the bowl you’ve prepared until you tell him to. At his young age, Frank is VERY eager to learn and is incredibly adaptable.
He will only jump onto your furniture (couches, beds, car seats, etc.) if invited, and has recently learned to allow humans to enter through doors before him. Frank is NOT a barker, though he will grumble or let out a small, deep bark if he hears a noise outside / nearby he thinks is a threat to you. He calms immediately when told to.
Being ball obsessed, Frank also knows how to fetch a ball (“where’s your ball?”, “bring it”), retrieve it and return it to you for another throw (“leave it”). Frank will gladly and gratefully play ball until he gets tired.
Frank is always ready for action and he will need an active home. He DOES nap between exercise and playtime and is currently learning how to “take a break”.
Out and about, Frank is more interested in his ball than meeting other dogs. He does have a little play and then walks his ball. He will happily jump into the waves at the beach (if there’s a ball to follow) and would follow you to like such a good boy.
Frank would suit absolutely any human who can commit to exercising and / or playing with him. For instance, an active family with children of any age, where he can play fetch, go on daily walks and adventures, and spend time cuddling before bed (Frank loves cuddles); any active human/s who enjoy regular exercise.
