I've found my furever family!

Hi, I’m Penny! I'm such a beautiful and special little soul. Everyone that meets me thinks I'm very sweet too. I have only been with my foster family for a short time but have already shown I'm such a fast learner and will be such a loving, loyal companion.

 

I have learnt to "sit" and I am toilet trained if allowed access outside. I know to let my human foster family eat a meal at the table and I have very good manners to wait for them. I sit or lie down off to the side until they have finished. I walk well on the lead. I travel very well in the car. I sleep peacefully through the night. I whine a tiny amount if I am left outside on my own but I don't take very long at all to settle and adjust. With a little bit of encouragement I am good at having a warm bath.

 

I'm chilled and calm. I really love my food and my foster family think I will be able to be trained easily especially because I love my treats so much. I respond well to praise and pats for my good behaviour too.

 

I love running around the backyard playing and exploring with my foster family when they take me for a walk around their property.

 

I'm happy being outdoors. When my foster family let me come inside I sit on my mat/bed when I'm told and know to "stay". I have a little bit of cry initially when I'm left alone at home but settle quite easily and I usually lay on my bed waiting for my foster family to come home.

 

I love being in my foster Mum's presence. I don't constantly need attention, I just like to know where she is and be reasonably close to her. She loves her little shadow. I give her space and feel very relaxed when I'm near her. I'm a very grounding presence.

 

I love cuddles with my foster family. I live with a 5 year old and 7 year old who I love to snuggle up with for a rest. I absolutely adore massages, tummy rubs and scratches from my foster family.

 

I am playful but very gentle too. Sometimes I might occasionally jump up during play but I am learning how to play without needing to do this.

 

I have so much love to give. I am looking for my forever home with a family who can love me, show me warmth and affection.
