I didn’t have the best start to life but in such a short time I have learnt what it feels like to be loved and I’m addicted! I just want to please my humans.
I will follow you everywhere! I’m very food motivated and this makes my training a breeze. I have learned to sit and my meal time manners. I am also practicing drop and stay. I am still in training when it comes to toileting but I will let you know when I need to go by sitting at the door.
I sleep through the night with no accidents either. Just before bedtime when I start to get tired, I will crawl up for a snuggle and just stare into your eyes until I drop. The belly rubs are an added bonus at this time. My foster mum says I am an old soul who can melt away the day’s troubles.
I love playing with toys. If you throw the ball, most times I will bring it back to you and place it in your hand for you to throw again. My foster sister is teaching me tug-of-war with the rope toys and I get so excited. We also like to doggie wrestle. I really love kids too. Their energy makes me so happy. I am really gentle and smoochy with them. The more they giggle, the more I wiggle.
I currently live with my foster sister, a 6 year old Kelpie and I adore her. You will often find me curled up in her legs snoozing. I would be best suited to a house with another dog to keep me company unless my forever family has people home often. While I love investigating outside, I would want to be allowed inside too. I really do thrive with interaction.
I am super cute and curious about all the big wide world has to offer. I will make the perfect addition to a loving family and will reward you with a lifetime of loyalty and love.
