Everest (or Ever) is a sweet, fun and loving girl with a bubbly personality! When you sit back and watch you’ll see her curious nature as she explores and watches what’s going on.
This also means Everest is very intelligent and can learn new commands fast. She walks on a lead and will sit, drop and recall. She is patient at meal times and will sit for her leash to goes on and is getting better at waiting to walk through gates & doorways.
She is good with other dogs and prefers dogs who don’t crowd (she’s not a rough play kind of gal). While she adores sun-baking with her Staffy foster sister, she is also happy in her own company and will sometimes wander off for some alone time. She’ll wander back for a check-in, & curl up somewhere close by.
Ever has met a cat and with patience, and a steady introduction should be fine.
She currently eats in her crate and will sleep there too. Lately she prefers to sleep on her bed on the bedroom floor and will sleep through the night.
Ever’s perfect family will:
- Have a playmate for company if someone’s not around much.
- Enjoy taking her for regular walks and sniffing adventures.
- Understand loud noises and new things (like flapping flags & fast scooters) can be scary but with gentle guidance & exposure she relaxes.
- Be patient and kind and willing to continue her training
- Love puppy kisses, hugs & pats!
She’s cautious of new people but quickly warms up once her family reinforces they’re safe.
