Hi everyone I’m Pyrite . I am part of the gemstone litter, there are 11 of us! My beautiful mum Ruby, came into care 4 days before giving birth to us. I have grown up with a large litter of brothers and sisters, 4 foster dog brothers, 2 cats, chickens, horses and small humans. So not much fazes me!
I am such a sweet girl. I have a big personality and love to play. I love to rough and tumble with my big foster brothers, and love to be around humans. I am really happy to entertain myself or snuggle up. I am very well behaved at bed time and happy to sleep in my crate all night! I follow the human kids in my foster family everywhere. I love kids!
I have a short haired coat and as you can see, an adorable black pirate eye patch “aaaarg me matey”!
I also have the best “staffy smile”!
I love playing in the garden and snuggling on your lap! Give me a toy (or a sock!) and I will entertain myself for ages. My foster mum says I am really smart, I already know how to sit and wait for my food!
I’m too young to be fully toilet trained but when I go outside I go straight to the grass to do my business. I sleep in a crate all night and stay outside with my big foster brothers during the day when the humans are out. I am such a well behaved girl. I love being inside and outside.
My mums reckon I’m going to a medium sized dog (20-25kgs), just like my mum! I’m a really fast learner and continual training would be great, it would encourage my already awesome manners. I try and please my humans any chance I get.
I would suit almost any family. I have always had my sisters and friends around, so would probably like a friend, but I’m so chilled I could adjust to being an only child well, if I could spend lots of time with you.
I would make a fantastic addition to any family, and have so much love to give, just one look into my big brown eyes and I will steal your heart!
