Curly is a lovely, gentle, affectionate and playful puppy. He loves to cuddle up next to you or on you when he’s sleeping, and he sleeps well overnight in his human’s bedroom. He also makes lots of cute little vocalisations and squeaky noises when content.
Curly is at the puppy stage where he’ll have bursts of energy and playfulness and then happily settle down for a nap. He loves playing fetch with a small ball, although his version of fetch often involves getting his human to chase him around the yard to get the ball back!
He’s excited to meet new people but can be a little wary at first, as he’s still a puppy and still learning about the world. He can already do “sit” and he likes treats, which is helpful for training.
Curly is going well with toilet training. He knows to use puppy pads or go outside rather than going to the toilet on the tiles, although he’s still learning about carpet.
Until recently, Curly was living with three other dogs and his brother, and he got along well with them. He hasn’t been tested with cats.
Curly has experienced some carsickness on car trips so prefers to be crated, which is common in young puppies and may improve as he gets older.
