Hi, my name is Nugget, and I’m looking for my forever home! I’m a 2-year-old Terrier Mix with a big heart and an even bigger love for people. My favourite thing in the world is being with my family, and I always want to be involved in whatever my people are doing.
I’m currently living in foster care with a small human (also known as a toddler!) and I’m doing really well. I’d be best suited to a home with dog-savvy children who understand how to respectfully interact with dogs. I’m treat-motivated, eager to please, and love learning new things. In fact, I mastered toilet training in just 24 hours! I’m a clever boy who responds well to positive reinforcement and tasty rewards.
When it’s time to relax, I’m easy-going and happy to sleep wherever I’m comfortable. Right now, I settle well in my large crate area and sleep through the night. I absolutely love curling up on the couch for cuddles and spending quality time with my people. I also enjoy chasing a ball (and sometimes even bringing it back!), zooming around the backyard, and soaking up attention while being brushed.
My favourite things are my people, treats, couch cuddles, chasing a ball, playtime, backyard zoomies, and being brushed. I’m affectionate, adaptable, and ready to become a loyal and loving companion for the right family.
As for my ideal home, I’m looking for a loving family who wants a friendly companion to share their life with. Dog-savvy children are welcome, and I’d love someone who enjoys cuddles, companionship, and rewarding a clever boy with treats. I’m best suited to a home where I can be the only dog and soak up all the love and attention for myself.
