A gorgeous and polite little boy looking for his forever humans. With his cheerful nature, healthy appetite and quiet enthusiasm for every day Cheezel brings warmth wherever he goes.
Cheezel slots into any home and reads social cues well, staying away from our older dogs when they are tired, and engaging at their pace. And same with humans.
He has the loveliest personality – and will keep you amused with his expressive face and ears (those ears!), little squeaks of enjoyment and a confident strut. He is a character. But quiet. He doesn’t bark. Even at the postman! When he gets excited he squeaks, but generally a quiet little guy who is present without making a song and dance about it.
He is playful and engaged but just as content to keep himself entertained with toys or sniffing around the yard. A great companion dog he can be your little shadow trotting behind to help with loading the washing machine and gardening; and rolling over for regular tummy pats or curling up in his bed for nap in quieter household moment. The only thing he doesn’t like is to be excluded - so everywhere you go, he wants to be there!
He is smart and it helps that he is food motivated. He learnt to navigate a puppy door after one treat, jumps in his bed and has good recall. He’s so easy to feed, takes medication like a champ (a pill for me? – yes m’am, on it!), is calm in the bath and on car rides (though not a fan of either).
This is a little guy who will steal your heart in an instant and be your happiest family member - just wrapped in a fur coat. Within days you will wonder how you ever did without him. He will be very missed from ours.
