Brie is a gentle, quiet soul who is looking for a patient and understanding home.
Brie hasn’t had a great start in life isolated from the outside world and came into care scared and shut down. She is timid and unsure at this stage, but is slowly learning that people can be trusted. Every day she takes small steps forward, and it is incredibly rewarding to watch her confidence grow.
She is able to be leashed, but she is not ready for adventures, busy outings, or a bustling lifestyle just yet. Brie needs a calm home where she can continue to progress at her own pace without pressure. She is great with cats and good with dogs.
She loves being outside where she can explore the yard, soak up the fresh air, and enjoy the world from the safety of a secure space. Because of this, she will require secure fencing to keep her safe.
Brie is searching for a forever home who will celebrate the little wins, give her the time she needs, and let her blossom into the dog she is meant to be. In return, you’ll have the privilege of earning the trust of a truly special girl.
Due to having limited exposure to humans please understand that Brie will not be the sort of dog that will run up to you for cuddles. She will hide and be avoidant and this may take many weeks for her to feel comfortable.
If you have a quiet home, a secure yard, and a kind heart, Brie may be the perfect match for you.
