Meet Chanel, a sweet, calm and utterly devoted little dog looking for her forever home. At 5 years old, she is past the chaotic puppy stage and fully into her era of sunny naps and lap cuddles.
Found as a skinny stray with overgrown nails and the fading remnants of a pink dye job, she's had quite the glow-up. She's blossomed into the most loving companion, one who simply wants to be wherever you are. She'll follow you from room to room, curl up beside you in the sunshine, and attach herself to her person with her whole heart. She currently spends her nights on a mat beside the bed and will very politely request permission to come up for morning cuddles.
Chanel is extremely well-behaved, eager to please and genuinely intelligent. She knows "sit," waits for a signal before eating (even though food is absolutely her love language), is fully toilet trained, and only barks occasionally when there's a real reason to. She's equally happy pottering in the garden, napping in a sunny patch, or curled at your feet inside.
She's fine being left alone for short periods, but would love someone who's home a lot, she doesn't need adventure, she needs you. While she'd thrive as an only dog, she'd likely do well with another small dog given a gentle introduction. She hasn't been formally tested with children, but she wags her tail every time she hears the school kids walk past, and honestly, she'll win over just about anyone who's willing to let her climb into their lap.
With a silky, soft, low-shedding coat and all her vet work up to date, Chanel is the dream dog. If you're looking for a gentle, easy-going and endlessly affectionate companion to share your days with, she's ready to choose you right back.
HEALTH WAIVER:
Chanel has an old fractured left hip that was left to heal. You would never know, she is able to walk well, run, jump and play still. She just may be susceptible to early onset of arthritis as she ages and we recommend starting her on joint supplements when she does.
Chanel also has an underbite.
