Phoebe is a 4-year-old American Bulldog × Mastiff cross who is ready to be someone’s absolute best friend. After a tough start to life, she’s blossoming into a loving, loyal companion who just wants to be by your side.
Phoebe is incredibly people-focused and forms strong, devoted bonds. She’ll be your shadow around the house, your couch companion, and the one waiting excitedly to greet you when you walk through the door. She loves nothing more than snuggling up on the couch, but she’s just as happy playing fetch in the yard — she truly enjoys being part of whatever her people are doing.
She’s also a big fan of getting out and about — Phoebe loves a Bunnings trip and happily soaks up pats and attention from anyone who stops to admire her (which is often, because she’s very cute).
She has a big puppy spirit and is learning beautifully. Phoebe is a quick learner and already knows a growing list of tricks including sit, shake, touch, and wait. She walks really well on the lead with calm guidance and continues to build her confidence every day.
Phoebe is toilet trained, settles well indoors, and does well at home on her own once she feels secure. She sleeps happily in her crate overnight and enjoys a predictable routine. She also has a fun, quirky side — she absolutely loves chewing on a cube of ice whenever the freezer opens!
Because of her size and very enthusiastic greetings (she’s still working on keeping all four paws on the floor when she’s excited), Phoebe would be best suited to an adult-only home or one with older, dog-savvy teens.
Phoebe isn’t just looking for a home — she’s looking for her person or persons. Someone to share life with, to follow from room to room, to play with, and to curl up beside at the end of the day.
