Phoebe is a 4-year-old American Bulldog Mastiff cross with the biggest heart and an incredible capacity to love. After a difficult start to life, she’s finally discovering what it means to be safe — and she absolutely adores her people.
Phoebe is deeply affectionate and people-focused. She leans her whole body into you for cuddles, rests her heavy head in your lap, and watches you with complete devotion. When you come home, she greets you with joyful enthusiasm — she loves being part of her humans’ world and forms strong, loyal bonds.
In many ways, Phoebe is like a big puppy. She’s still learning the basics of home life — including walking nicely on a lead and understanding simple cues — and will need ongoing, positive training and guidance. She is eager to connect and responds well to calm, consistent leadership. Every day she grows in confidence and understanding.
Phoebe is toilet trained, settles well indoors, and thrives in a structured, predictable home where she can continue learning and building trust. Because of her size and excitement when greeting her people, she would be best suited to an adult-only home or one with older, dog-savvy teens.
She doesn’t need perfection — she needs patience, stability, and someone who will commit to helping her become her very best self. In return, she offers wholehearted loyalty and a love that runs deep.
