I'm ready for my new family!

Hi! My Name Is Boris

I'm Available

Despite being just 10 months old, Boris truly lives up to his name — he’s an old soul with a calm, gentle presence that melts hearts instantly. He’s a big boy with an even bigger heart, and his sweet, loving nature shines through in everything he does.

Boris is wonderful with other dogs and genuinely doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. He’s kind, easygoing, and happy to share his space, making him a fantastic companion in a multi‑dog home or as a laid‑back best mate.

Because of his size, Boris would be best suited to a home with children aged 6 years and over, who can confidently handle a larger dog and enjoy having a gentle giant as part of the family.

This special boy is truly one of a kind — a dog who combines youthful charm with a calm, soulful personality that’s rare to find. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a heart of gold, Boris might just be the dog you’ve been waiting for.

HEALTH WAIVER: Boris has been diagnosed with bilateral hip dysplasia:

  • Left hip: Grade 1
  • Right hip: Grade 2

At this stage, Boris is comfortable and showing no signs of pain, and surgery is not required at this time.

From around 12 months of age, we recommend starting a joint supplement such as 4Cyte or Antinol to help support and maintain his joint health long‑term.

While many dogs with mild to moderate hip dysplasia live happy, active lives with conservative management, there is a possibility that Boris may require a Femoral Head Ostectomy (FHO) in the future. For this reason, prospective adopters should be aware of this potential cost when considering Boris.
