Jimmy is a little pocket rocket who is friendly and eager to please. He absolutely adores cuddles and his favourite place to be is with his human. He will cuddle up at your feet if you’re busy, check if you’re available for cuddles every now and then and, when you are, he’ll share a seat with you or get on your lap for a full-on cuddle and kisses session. At 4kg, Jimmy fits beautifully into your lap and is very easy to pick up and cuddle as much as you like.
Jimmy loves to go for walks and will spend his time sniffing whatever comes his way. He loves to wander along the path, enjoying all of the sights and smells. He usually walks on the left, like a true gentleman, but, occasionally, something on the other side of the path attracts his attention. Progress along the path with Jimmy is often slow (a dog’s gotta sniff what a dog’s gotta sniff), but he can get up quite a pace when the need arises.
Jimmy didn’t have the best start in life and is currently learning how to interact and live with people. He is a quick learner but he occasionally has a setback. He was terrified to come inside when he first arrived but now knows that inside is a wonderful place to be – though he still, occasionally, finds it terrifying to cross the threshold. Meeting new people can be a challenge but he soon settles down. He didn’t know what treats were and found it difficult to accept a treat from a human hand. And so it goes with the other aspects of his life. He’s learning new things all the time. And he’s loving it.
Jimmy is starting to work on basic commands. We haven’t got very far yet but Jimmy is a quick learner so I’m sure it won’t be long before he’s sitting (and more) like a trooper.
