Ranger is a beautiful boy with a striking golden‑brown coat and a loyal and intelligent nature. He’s bright, attentive, and loves to check in with his people, always making sure he’s doing the right thing.
He’s had some formal training already and is learning to walk nicely on a lead. He can get a bit overexcited when he sees other dogs – he very much wants to meet everyone – but he’s making wonderful progress. A halti has been helping him manage all the excitement of the big wide world, and he’s responding to it brilliantly.
After a fun day of play and exploring, Ranger is more than happy to wind down and take a long, restful nap. At night, he sleeps peacefully on his bed and settles easily.
Ranger would love a home where someone is around for company, but he can also relax comfortably for a few hours indoors if he has another dog for companionship. While in foster care he has been socialised with a small female Staffy, and the pair became instant friends. They play beautifully together and even share food and water without a fuss.
This clever boy already sits and waits politely for his dinner, is fully housetrained, and is learning to drop. He has some recall and is picking things up quickly with the help of his favourite treats. His manners are improving day by day.
Although shy at first, Ranger is blossoming into a sweet, cuddly companion who loves a snuggle. He is loyal, devoted, and takes his role in looking after his family seriously.
Ranger is likely best suited to an active household with teenagers or young adults, ideally with another medium‑to‑large dog who enjoys energetic play. He is untested with cats.
Ranger has so much love to give and is ready for a family who will guide him, enjoy his playful spirit, and appreciate the loyal, affectionate boy he is becoming.
