Meet Gemma! This cutie is as sweet‑natured as they come. She’s bright, gentle, curious and wonderfully well‑mannered. The kind of dog who walks calmly on lead, learns new things in a flash, and genuinely wants to please. Underneath her lovely temperament is a sensitive soul; she can be a little unsure when faced with new people or unfamiliar situations, which is no surprise given her past. But once she feels safe, she bonds deeply and becomes the most loyal little shadow you could ask for. It doesn't take her long to turn into a super-friendly and cuddly girl who will do anything for a tummy scratch.
She settled into her foster home with ease and is slowly becoming more confident, taking each new experience in her stride. Travels well in the car, isn't phased by a claw trim and cooperates when having a bath. She sleeps through the night and greets everyone enthusiastically in the morning with a big waggy tail and lots of licks.
She’s an active, outdoorsy type who would thrive with someone who enjoys getting out and about and understands the mental stimulation a working‑breed dog needs to stay happy. A family with kids would be a great match, especially one that can give her lots of the exercise, fun, and affection she deserves. She’s super fit, loves a run and a game, and has a chilled, easygoing nature when it’s time to relax.
