There’s a reason why Dottie’s has a heart spaced marking on her nose - she’s a beautiful girl, a gentle soul. She’s initially shy but once you show her love and kindness, she will pay that back tenfold.
Once she has come out of her shell, she is a playful character who loves a run around in garden but also loves a good old snooze and cuddle.
Dottie is focusing on crate training right now, and her carers are helping her to feel happy and comfortable in her crate to help her to feel safe and secure when left alone. Dottie will benefit from a family who are open to continue her crate training and are able to continue to build up her confidence being left alone.
At the moment, Dottie prefers company for most of the day but we’re certain with the gentle approach, her confidence being left alone during periods of the day will sore.
Dottie would love a family who are up for teaching her cool new tricks. She’s very food motivated so is going to be a joy to train.
Dottie is learning her manners and has shown to be really quite intelligent. Whilst she’s going to need help to learn basic commands, Dottie is starting to recognise her name and is responding to “wait” before running for her ball. She’s fabulous at catching a ball, and not so fabulous yet at bringing it back but she’s getting there.
Dottie is a beautiful gentle soul who needs a lovely family who will show her stability, love, mental stimulation and will be up for teaching her cool new tricks.
Dottie would do well in a calm loving house. Any family will be so blessed to have Dottie as a new addition.
