Meela is a bright and beautiful cattle dog cross with a big heart. She’s eager to learn, loves to please and will definitely steal your heart with her goofy antics and cuddly nature.
This clever girl already knows how to sit, lay down, stay, and shake (both left and right!). She’s crate trained, loves her foodies, and can spend time entertaining herself with her Kongs and toys — though she’s just as happy playing with you and love love loves fetch.
Being a cattle dog Meela has PLENTY of energy to burn, and is currently enjoying a nice walk morning and night and some playtime in between. Once it’s time to wind down, she turns into a total snuggle bug who loves to cuddle, roll around beside you, flop onto her back and soak up all the love she can get.
She’s friendly with other dogs and loves making new friends, though sometimes she forgets her size and enthusiasm! With time, she’s getting better at picking up on cues from other dogs and learning when not to get too rowdy. She can be a bit timid with bigger dogs at first but warms up.
Meela also adores kids — ideally aged six and up because of her playfulness and energy (she sometimes thinks they’re big puppies just like her and wants to roll around with them!)
Meela is still getting used to being home alone for longer stretches of time, but with patience, consistency, and a good routine, she’s learning quickly and settling in more each day. After a few false starts, she can be a little timid at first — but once she trusts you, her sweet, goofy, affectionate personality shines right through.
Meela is ready for her forever family — one who’ll keep up with her adventurous spirit, celebrate her puppy heart, and give her all the cuddles she deserves.
