Coco is the sweetest, most loving dog I’ve ever taken care of. She is so eager to make her humans happy and only asks for pets, cuddles and a walk a day in return. The only time I’ve heard her make a noise is when she snores a little while asleep, other than that no barking or whining whatsoever.
She gets along well with other dogs and has never shown any aggression. When unsure if another dog likes her, she’ll come back to you for a bit of reassurance. She is submissive but still enjoys friendly rough play with other dogs if they start it. She would prefer to play with dogs larger than her but still does well with smaller dogs.
Although she can be excited at first with kids, she has no problems with them at all. She sits on command and is doing very well with toilet training. Once she knows where to go and gets praised a few times she gets the hang of it and will walk herself outside when she needs to go, whether you’re with her or not.
She responds very well to positive reinforcement (pets and praise) but isn’t super treat motivated as all she wants is your love. She can sit on command and generally doesn’t pull whilst walking her on a leash.
I think she’d love to be in an environment where she has someone nearby (working from home every now and then), as she enjoys sitting next to you while you do your own thing. She does however sleep just fine by herself inside at night.
Honestly, she’s so easy to love and her personality is adorable. She’d love as many people as possible to love (a family or two person household would be best, unless an individual is home all the time). Because she’d be easier than other dogs to train, I can imagine she’d be the perfect pup for anyone who doesn’t want the 4am wake-up’s of having a young puppy, but still wants a young, sweet, healthy and happy puppy who’s got a lot of love to give.
