Scout is a sweet and cheerful little shadow who came into care just a few weeks ago — and settled in almost instantly. From day one, she’s shown nothing but love, trust, and her playful nature.
She’s an affectionate, easy-going girl with the most gorgeous spotty coat and warm, soulful eyes. Scout loves to follow her foster parents everywhere and is always nearby, ready for a cuddle or some gentle attention.

She’s very food motivated and will do the cutest happy taps, bounces and little spins when it’s mealtime. Despite the excitement, she has wonderful manners and patiently waits for the command to eat.

She **does not jump on people** — her excitement is shown through bouncing around you with joy, not jumping up.

She recently discovered how fun dog toys are and now proudly carries them around the house like prized treasures.

She’s a bit of a laundry and sock thief — she gently "borrows" clothes and brings them to her bed or the couch to keep her company. It’s adorable and harmless, but you might want to keep your socks tucked away!
Scout is friendly and respectful with everyone she meets, including kids of all ages.
She bonded immediately with her foster brother, a playful young Staffy. The two of them run, wrestle, and snooze together all day long. She has also tested well with small dogs and made friends with a little male Chihuahua.
She’s curious about her foster kitty sister, and while she sometimes gets a little too excited, she’s learning quickly to give the cat space. With slow introductions and a bit of guidance, Scout would do well in a home with dog-savvy cats.
